I have a Quantum and own a Deuce too. Initially I was not that smitten by the Quantum as coming from Deuce, I missed the subbass clubbing sound. However, the longer I spend with Quantum, the more I appreciate the detail, speed, and tunability of Quantum. If I need more bass? Just EQ and the driver can add a surprising amount of subbass without an ounce of distortion.
You can EQ Quantum to do a lot of things, including to reduce treble when it is a bit sibilant, which isn't often. But you cannot EQ inferior drivers to do what the Quantum can.
Also the soundstage on Quantum is huge for an IEM. It is practically a headphone level soundstage, and more than the R70x and HD600 that I own. Almost as HD620S levels. For an IEM? That is a huge. For a headphone, it is good.
